I am not sure why I was unexcited about the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Perhaps Atlanta just did not see like an Olympic worthy city or maybe it was just my overall preference for the Winter Olympics. Whatever the reason I did not follow the Atlanta Olympics as closely as I followed others before and since. It is kind of cool though to walk around the city and see the remnants of the games.
Oh synchronized swimming...so silly and amazing all at the same time!
