Gotta Get Back In Time

Back to the task of getting caught up after my insertion of the Canada stops. We finished up in Aurora on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and headed to Davenport, IA. I have never been to Davenport nor have I ever had any interest in going. Since we were only there for one night, I did not really see much of the town although I don't think that there is much to see. I will be returning with Beauty and the Beast though so I will be able to confirm the boringness of the town then!

Downtown Davenport did have some public art on the streets which I respect.

There is also an art museum which I may investigate when I return.

The Adler Theatre was a part of a big convention center and office building complex. I did not get very good pictures inside the theatre, but I did not stress about it since I will have an extra day to get better shots in May.

Adjust the brightness on your monitor. Ryan took crappy pictures again!

To look at the bright side of having to return, I did find a fun brew pub with good food. Also Davenport is located right on the Mississippi River and there appeared to be a decent riverwalk. And if all else fails, there is a riverboat casino!
