When I go to art museums, I try to see an overview of just about everything, but mainly I am interested in the modern art. So the idea of a museum dedicated to modern art is just fine by me. It saves me a bunch of time walking around and pretending that I am interested in art that I couldn't possibly care less about!
The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art was a must see attraction for me. The museum did not have works by all of my favorite artists, but what they did have was spectacular.
Here we have a piece by Magdalena Abakanowicz for Heather. (I wish that they had placed it somewhere other than in front of the line for refreshments!)
