The hotel that we stayed in for our Hamilton, Ontario engagement was actually in Burlington several miles (or several more kilometers!) away. Burlington did not really have much to offer except a mall and a train station which made a day trip to Toronto possible. I did walk around Burlington including a several mile walk down to Lake Ontario.
I did actually go in RC's for some ice cream and a soda.
