So... maybe the big brother is right? You do have too much time on your hands?!?!?
Well that is just the point. These birds are everywhere. One does not have to get up at 3am and go lurk in the undergrowth to see them. Just find a trash can, or woman with a bag of popcorn (which is the case in the top and bottom photos).
