Knoxville, Tennessee

Given a choice of small cities to return to for a third time with another tour, Knoxville would be towards the top of the list. Downtown Knoxville has a large assortment of restaurants and bars. It is easily walkable, and the theatre is beautiful. Here is a random sample of my Knoxville pictures:

There is a statue of Sergei Rachmaninov, the composer, pianist, and conductor, in The World's Fair Park. I questioned what he had to do with Tennessee, but apparently his last public performance was given in Knoxville. That raised the coolness factor of Knoxville in my eyes!

He doesn't seem to be getting very far!

The shoes are interesting!
