In my two previous visits to Dallas, I intended to visit the Dallas Museum of Art, but I never got around to it. Well I was determined to go this time, and I did. I have to say that it was just okay. There was some art that appealed to me, but on the whole it is not a very big museum. Oh well I can check it off of the list!
At least there was a Giacometti.
One intersting aspect of Dallas that actually caught me by surprise when I first visited with The Wedding Singer is that there is a ton of art around the city (mostly sculpture). Here is a random sample of some of it:
