I do not normally blog about the hotels that we stay in. They all start to seem the same after three years of touring. Every once in awhile we stay in a hotel that is really cool. The Aloft Hotel in Dallas was one of those hotels. I think it is a newer chain of hotels in which the rooms are all set up to be like a loft apartment in an old industrial building. The Aloft had a great gym, and was walkable to everything in downtown. I always want to stay there!
During our last couple of days there they were setting up some kind of art display. I am not sure what the significance of it was, but here are some of the more interesting pieces:
