After our first weekend in Detroit, my time on the Yellow Brick Road came to an end. I played the first performance on Friday night, and sat out for both shows on Saturday and Sunday. Since I had to be at the theatre whether I played or not, I ended up sitting in the pit next to the drummer for one performance and watched from the audience for another. It was fun to actually watch the show, but once was enough. After that I just sat outside the pit and quietly fingered through the music for Beauty and the Beast.
On my last night, my dream of being a Jitterbug partly came true. After that what else was there to do, but move on to Beauty and the Beast!
