A Stroll Through Milwaukee

I have played Milwaukee twice now on tour, and both times I left wishing I had more time and better weather to explore.  It isn't that Milwaukee is the most exciting city that I have ever been to.  It is more the fact that both previous visits have only been for five show weekend.  That doesn't leave much free time!

The Fonz!

Above is The Marcus Center where the big tours play.  Needless to say, I have yet to play there.

I have made the walk to see the Calatrava Wings at the Milwaukee Art Museum during both visits.  Maybe next time I will have the time to actually go to the museum!

Milwaukee Theatre

The Milwaukee Theatre is the closest I have to a nemesis theatre.  It is the site of the most horrible noise that I have ever made on a piccolo when we played there with The Wizard of Oz.  I am happy to report that there were no such noises this time!

Great Lakes Aquarium

Part of why I had so little time to explore Duluth was my weakness for aquariums.  I mean it was right next to the theatre.  What was I supposed to do?!

Cedar Falls, Iowa

What can a person say about a place like Cedar Falls, Iowa?  Well I had more drivers honk their horns at me as I walked on the sidewalk to and from the theatre than anywhere else I've been.  Sadly that is really all a person needs to know about Cedar Falls.  It is the sort of place where people have nothing better to do than to honk at pedestrians.

How can a person resist sticking their finger up a nose that big!

Sebastian certainly couldn't!

Stephanie was more curious about what was inside.

The World's Largest Pheasant

Speaking of kitschy attractions!
